Millennium Global Partner of Montreux Jazz Festival
Millennium is proud to partner with the Montreux Jazz Festival and the Claude Nobs Foundation to preserve and promote one of the world’s most significant audiovisual music collections. Comprising more than 5,000 concerts digitised by EPFL and the Claude Nobs Foundation, this archive represents a unique cultural heritage. Drawing on its technological expertise, Millennium ensures the storage, security and management of several petabytes of constantly evolving data, thereby contributing to the long-term preservation and transmission of this exceptional musical legacy.
A technological infrastructure dedicated to musical heritage
As the official partner for audiovisual production at the Montreux Jazz Festival, Millennium provides cutting-edge technological solutions for the hosting, backup and management of the audiovisual collections of the Festival and the Claude Nobs Foundation, in collaboration with EPFL.
This infrastructure ensures optimal preservation of content thanks to a highly secure and redundant storage system. Real-time access to the archives enables Montreux Media Ventures to promote and commercialise this content effectively.
The world’s first Montreux Jazz Club
This collaboration gave rise to the first Montreux Jazz Club at the Millennium, a venue dedicated to live music and artistic encounters.
True to the spirit of the Montreux Jazz Festival, the Club hosts a programme throughout the year featuring both internationally renowned artists and emerging talents. It offers an elegant and unique setting in which to enjoy exceptional moments, in an intimate atmosphere where guests can get up close to the artists, combining artistic excellence, comfort, fine dining and hospitality.
