Le Montreux Jazz Club Millennium

The Club organizes exclusive musical and artistic evenings in a unique setting, where every event becomes an unforgettable experience. Our members have the privilege of taking part in over 25 exceptional events every year, ranging from intimate concerts to top-notch artistic performances.

Yazz Ahmed, the “high priestess of psychedelic Arabic jazz,” will be at the Club on May 21, 2026.

At the crossroads of contemporary jazz, immersive electronics, and echoes of the Arab world, the British-Bahraini trumpeter weaves a sound that is spellbinding, mystical, and resolutely modern.

Yazz Ahmed pursues her work as a quest to reconcile identities. Her albums La Saboteuse and Polyhymnia have earned her rare recognition on today’s jazz scene.

With her electronic effects, psychedelic-tinged improvisations, and her ability to bring oud and brass into dialogue, she is redefining the very contours of what jazz can be today.
